About Me

I am currently a part of Baylor University’s Class of 2025 and I plan to complete a Bachelor’s in Journalism and a Minor in Legal Analysis and Debate.

I’m Jennifer Blanco Flores, a journalism student at Baylor University with a passion for storytelling, creativity, and community impact. As a first-generation American and college student, I’ve learned to value the power of words to bring people together, amplify voices, and celebrate meaningful narratives.

I’m proud to serve as the Membership Outreach Chair for PRSSA Baylor for the 2025–2026 school year, where I focus on building relationships, increasing student engagement, and promoting the value of joining a professional PR community.

I’m also the founder of Project Everlasting, a personal initiative dedicated to capturing and preserving the life stories of elderly residents in assisted living homes. Through photography, writing, and heartfelt interviews, I strive to create connections across generations and provide families with cherished memories of their loved ones.

My professional experience includes crafting press releases, creating campaigns, and developing advertising strategies for brands that value culture and innovation. I’ve also worked on creative projects like managing social media content, newsletters, and photography, combining my love for visual storytelling with impactful messaging.

Outside of journalism, I’m passionate about personal growth—whether it’s learning French, experimenting with new recipes, or staying active through hiking and dance. I believe in embracing challenges and telling stories that inspire action and understanding.

Let’s connect if you’re looking for someone with a creative spirit, a knack for storytelling, and a drive to make a difference through meaningful communication. I look forward to meeting and working with new people and absorbing all the information I can to become part of the next generation of workforce and business owners.
